Roy West
Roy West is a design leader and UX writer, most recently at Uber in San Francisco. Previously he was the head of UX writing for the Search, Maps, and Identity teams at Google, where he also worked as a UX writer in the early days of Android. Roy has over 30 years of experience with writing in technology, both as a writer and manager, in large companies and in startups. Roy’s current focus is on scaling the impact of UX writing teams by building tools, processes, standards, and other resources, and mentoring writers to help them grow their skills.
